New Delhi: Telecom operators Reliance Jio, Vodafone India, and Idea Cellular have started working on their network keeping in mind the 5G service. These companies have started working on massive MIMO technology. MIMO technology is considered to be the most basic technique for 5G. India is expected to come up with 5G technology by 2020.
The special thing is that Airtel is working with the Chinese company Huawei on the first stage of the Massive MIMO technology. These operations are ongoing in Bangalore and Kolkata and in other cities like Pune, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh, these operations will be started.
Let us know that MIMO is the basic and most important part of India’s roadmap for the 5G network. The company said that the capacity of the spectrum will increase by five to seven times with the masseur MIMO solution. This will increase the coverage and consumer’s scope. In other words, the subscriber will get speed from 30Mbps to 35 Mbps with the help of this technique, it is possible that speed can also go up to 50Mbps.
According to the Economic Times, Vodafone’s technology director Vishant Vora said, “There are a few years in the arrival of 5G, in this way we are bringing some technology like 5G MISM to the 4G network.”
Now companies like ZTE, Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia are working with telecom operators to conduct trial operations in several circles. The trial operated by seven joint ventures of Airtel ZTE and Huawei. On the other hand, many telecom companies are talking about 5G technology from Ericsson.
